As a whole, 2018 was just an okay year for games. While I think many of the best games of this entire generation released this year, a lot of the more standard releases that we’ve come to expect every few years seemed to be in decline. Shadow of the Tomb Raider , Battlefield 5 , NBA 2K19 , and heck, even the disaster that turned out to be Fallout 76 were all pretty disappointing to me.
